Athan Iannucci played 8 years professionally in the National Lacrosse League (NLL), where he set the NLL's single-season scoring record with 71 goals, surpassing lacrosse legend Gary Gait's previous record of 61. That same year he was selected to the ALL-Star team and was nominated League MVP.
Athan also played at Hofstra University ('03-'05) under future hall of fame coach and current Team USA head coach, John Danowski. The pinnacle of his NCAA career was in '05 where he was an All American, led the NCAA in goals and points, and set Hofstra's single season scoring record with 62g.
Athan has spent many years coaching youth and highschool lacrosse in both Canada and the US. He now lives in Texas with his wife and 4 young children.
